Tennis Director: Zach Matthews
Born in Medford Oregon, Zachary started with the Frank Inn Jr School of Tennis. He won his first USTA Junior Champs tournament at the age of 16. He went on to State three years and finished with a USTA Pacific Northwest top 20 ranking in singles and top 5 in doubles. Zachary is now the Director of Tennis a Peak Tennis in Hayden, and competes on the 5.0+ team.
Tennis Pro: Steven Clark
Steve’s background is extensive in the tennis world. Coach of #3 ATP Doubles players, #5 NCAA individuals, #16 NCAA teams, and also he is a NCAA All-American with and undefeated #1 Southern California Men’s Open doubles player. JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAMS
LITTLE CHAMPS (ages 4-6)
Players are introduced to the fundamentals of tennis through fun activities on a 36′ court. Activities are focused on the ABC’s (Agility, Balance and Coordination) fun and games.
Monday & Wednesday 4:00 – 4:30 PM

CHALLENGERS (ages 11 & over)
Beginner players progress to yellow balls focusing on stroke production and point play development. Introducing tactics and strategy in order to prepare them for intermediate tournament play.

FUTURE CHAMPS (10 & under)
Players continue to focus on fundamentals and ABC’s while developing forehand and backhand rally skills, serve and volleys. Match play and scoring will be introduced using the Orange and Green Dot Balls.

CHAMPS (ages 11 & over)
This group is for players who want to compete in the USTA Tournaments and High School Varsity tennis. Players must have match play experience, or formerly Challengers level by invitation from the tennis director.

*Eligibility – The junior program is open to all boys and girls, ages 4 to 18. Juniors from the general public are welcome to participate at non-member rates.
